Issuance, extension and revocation of a permit to a migrant worker
In order to receive a public service, a natural person - a labor immigrant submits a package of documents to the non-profit joint stock company "State Corporation "Government for Citizens" upon personal appeal
To obtain a permit, a labor immigrant must provide the following documents
1. for initial applications:
application for a work permit for an immigrant;
individual income tax advance payment receipts
passport with a mark of crossing the State border
medical certificate
certificate of passing fingerprinting and photographing
medical insurance
an employment contract drawn up between the employer and the service recipient
2. to extend the permit when applying to the State Corporation at the place of temporary residence in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
application for extension of a work permit to an immigrant;
receipts for the payment of an individual income tax advance payment (returned to the service recipient after scanning);
previously issued permit to a labor immigrant;
an employment contract drawn up between the employer and the service recipient in accordance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (returned to the service recipient after scanning);
medical insurance (after the scan is returned to the service recipient).
A work permit for an immigrant is issued for one, two or three months. A new permit for a labor immigrant is issued no earlier than thirty calendar days after the expiration of the previous permit. The service is provided within 2 working days
