Municipal services

On the territory of the North Kazakhstan region, there are 508 boiler houses that heat social facilities and housing, including 23 central, 132 local and 353 autonomous boiler houses. 613 educational facilities, 537 healthcare facilities, 322 cultures.

The heating season of 2020-2021 in the North Kazakhstan region began on September 18 and runs as usual. The demand of consumers for electric and thermal energy is fully satisfied.

Emergency technical teams equipped with special equipment and material and technical means have been created at municipal enterprises.

Coal for budgetary institutions for the heating season was supplied in full in the amount of 145 thousand tons. The demand for coal for central boiler houses of state utilities is 55 thousand tons, contracts have been concluded, the normative need is in the amount of 29 thousand tons. For the needs of the population, coal with an annual demand of 393 thousand tons is procured in the amount of 357 thousand tons or 91%, there are 38 thousand tons of coal at railway dead ends, including 6 thousand tons in Petropavl.

Housing sector

Information on the course of implementation of the Nurly Zher Program in terms of house renovation.

There are 1,837 high-rise buildings in the region. The residential multi-storey fund of the city of Petropavl is 1,152 houses, in the districts of the region there are 685 houses.

In the region, in the period from 2011 to 2019, within the framework of the Program, 170 apartment buildings were repaired for a total amount of 2.7 billion tenge. As a result, the share of houses requiring major repairs decreased from 27.5% to 16.9%.

Improvement of settlements

In 2020, from April 10 to July 10, a three-month improvement period was held in the settlements of the region.

During the three-month period, 3.6 km of streets, 1.3 thousand territories of educational institutions and other social facilities, 94 thousand courtyards were cleared and improved. On the eve of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, work was carried out to bring 591 monuments, obelisks and adjacent territories into proper sanitary condition,

78 beaches and recreation areas, 352 parks, squares, squares have been cleaned and landscaped. 204 entry groups, 669 bus stops have been brought into compliance.

Water supply and sanitation

Currently, out of 635 villages, 398 villages (62.7%) with a population of 247.5 thousand people (82.6%) are provided with centralized water supply, 237 villages (37.3%) with a population of 52 thousand are not provided with centralized water supply. human. All 5 cities of the region are fully covered by centralized water supply.

The main water supplying enterprises of the region are the branch "Yesil Su" of the republican state enterprise on the right of economic management "Nurinskiy Group Water Pipeline" (serves 11 districts of the region) and Kyzylzhar Su LLP (serves the city of Petropavl).

Centralized water supply is carried out from the Yesil River by group water pipelines - Ishimskiy, Bulayevsky, Presnovskiy, Sokolovskiy, which are under the economic management of the Yesil Su branch of the RSE on the REM "Nurinskiy Group Water Pipeline".

Kyzylzhar Su LLP has its own water supply system in Petropavl. Also in the region, centralized water supply is carried out from groundwater.

Water disposal is carried out in the cities of Petropavl, Sergeyevka, Bulayevo and in 5 rural settlements (Saumalkol, Yavlenka, Pokrovka, Beskol and Novoishimskoye).

The wastewater disposal system of the city of Petropavl includes a complex consisting of collectors, sewage treatment facilities and wastewater storage facilities, allowing to regulate the accumulation and planned discharge of city wastewater throughout the year. The total length of sewerage networks serviced by Kyzylzhar Su LLP is 257 km.

In 2020, 6.5 billion tenge was allocated for water supply.

Water supply works have covered 76 settlements with a population of 60 thousand people. Access of villages to centralized water supply reached 62.7%, rural population - 82.1%.

In 2021, 11.4 billion tenge is provided for water supply.

In general, it is expected that access of villages to centralized water supply by the end of 2021 of the rural population will be 83.5%.
