Independence is a sacred concept for all peoples. Thanks to sovereignty, today we have become a country recognized by the whole world. On the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the project "Tauelsizdik zhetistigi" was developed at the KSU "Saumalkol school-Gymnasium No. 2", explaining to school children the meaning of sovereign years.

On October 22, an intellectual game was held on the topic: "Zhasa mangi Kazakhstan" in order to identify the intellectual and creative abilities of students, to educate students with respect and respect for the state symbols of Kazakhstan, its historical past and traditions. This competition was held in three languages and consisted of three rounds. Three teams of 5 students took part in the game: "Bolashak", "Star" and "New generation" from among the students of grades 8-9 with Russian and Kazakh languages of instruction.

The 1st round "Savvy in 60 seconds" is a blitz-questions dedicated to the knowledge of the traditions and rituals of the Kazakh people, the state symbols of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the historical path of the country’s development. Russian language and literature teacher Vodovozova E.V. prepared and conducted this quiz, which was held in Russian.

The 2nd round "Beine plot of boyynsha Suraktar" was dedicated to historical figures who contributed to the formation and development of the country’s independence. At this stage , the teams were asked to watch the video and answer questions . The tour was held in Kazakh — teacher Boztekeeva N.T.

Round 3 — "Polyglot". The teams competed in the knowledge of proverbs and sayings on the topic of "Homeland" and showed a fairly good level of knowledge of the English language. The English teacher, K.F. Khamzina, was responsible for the 3rd round.

The hosts of the event — a student of the 10th "B" class Beisembayev Batyrkhan and a student of the 9th "B" class Khayrol Nurgul, having good oratorical abilities, demonstrated a high level of trilingualism. During the event, they told the students about the achievements of the country over 30 years of Independence, the political and social situation in the country, culture, history, spiritual values of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the results of the intellectual game, with a difference of two points, the "Star" team won.
