On December 10, the Kazakh State Academic Music and Drama Theater named after K.Kuanyshbayev hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the VI National Championship of Professional Skills — "WorldSkills Kazakhstan".
The championship was held from November 1 to December 4 at 30 venues in the country equipped with modern equipment within the framework of the Zhas Maman project. The level of competition at the Professional skills championship was very high, because more than 600 students from 17 regions of the country competed in 30 basic and 42 additional competencies.
Our region was represented by 19 students in 19 competencies.
According to the results of the Championship, Igor Chupchikov (Higher College named after M.Zhumabayev) became the winner of the Gold Medal in the competence of "Graphic Design", Kirill Malkov won the silver medal in the competence of "Electrical installation Works" (North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College), Danil Zenin won the bronze medal in the competence of "Confectionery Business" (Petropavlovsk Construction and Economic College).
5 students became the owners of medallions "Uzdik Maman": "Turning works on CNC machines" — Bobylev Rostislav (KGKP "Petropavlovsk College of Mechanical Engineering and Transport named after B.Ashimov"), "Plumbing and heating" — Busko Savely, "Brick masonry" — Sergey Smirnov (KGKP "Petropavlovsk College of Construction and Economics"), "Network and System Administration" — Zhenis Alikhan, "Preschool education" — Ekaterina Fields (KGKP "Higher College named after M.Zhumabayev") .
