On April 5, 2021, a competition of ideas "Energy Breakthrough" was held in the North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College within the framework of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the event was to attract students from organizations of technical and vocational education, young specialists in the field of energy to solve specific scientific, technical and innovative problems, identify and assist in the implementation of innovations, identification of talented youth in research projects.
The competition was attended by the teams of the Petropavlovsk College of Railway Transport named after Baiken Ashimov, the Engineering College of Petropavlovsk and the North Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College. Colleges’ participants performed tasks to solve specific scientific, technical and innovative problems.
The participants of the competition with enthusiasm and interest have been solving the energy problems presented to them by the social partners of the colleges.
According to the results of the competition, the team of the North-Kazakhstan Vocational Pedagogical College took 1st place, the Petropavlovsk College of Railway Transport named after Baiken Ashimov — 2nd place, the Engineering College of Petropavlovsk — 3rd place.
This event supported the development of students’ professional competencies, an increase in their interest in their future profession, in innovations in the energy field.
