Draft Resolution of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region dated November 03, 2017 No. 438 "On approval of the location of special stationary premises for the distribution of religious literature and other information materials of religious content, religious items" (hereinafter — The draft) was developed in accordance with subparagraph 7) of Article 5 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 11, 2011 "On religious activities and religious associations", article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 6, 2016 "On legal acts".

The project was developed as part of the provision of state services in the field of religious activity, the result of which is the approval of an additional stationary room for the distribution of religious literature and other information materials of religious content, religious objects.

The project is posted on the portal "Open NPAs" http://egov .kz for public discussion and on the website of the KSU "Department for Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region" https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/sko-udr?lang=ru.

KSU "Department of Religious Affairs of the Akimat of the North Kazakhstan region provides 5 state services in the field of religious activity:

1. "Registration and re-registration of persons engaged in missionary activities";
2. "Issuance of a decision on the approval of the location of premises for religious events outside of religious buildings (structures)";
3. "Issuance of a decision on the approval of the location of special stationary premises for the distribution of religious literature and other information materials of religious content, objects of religious purpose";
4. "Issuance of a decision on the construction of religious buildings (structures) determining their location";
5. "Issuance of a decision on the conversion (change of functional purpose) of buildings (structures) into religious buildings (structures)".

These public services are provided on an alternative basis: in paper and in electronic (through the e-Government portal) forms.
