FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE OLYMPIC GAMES ARE HELD IN A NEW FORMAT IN SHYMKENT
The fourth and final stage of the Republican Olympiad in general education subjects is held in the Ustudy center of Shymkent today. It is attended by 48 students in social and humanitarian areas, 55 students in natural science and mathematics. Of these, 3 students are from the city of Nur-Sultan, 15 students are from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School. Taking into account the situation with the pandemic in the country, the Republican Olympiad is held in the building of the Ustudy center in compliance with all sanitary requirements.
The main innovation of this year's Olympiad is that it is organized on the principle of "one participant – one computer – one camera". Olympiad tasks are submitted simultaneously at the beginning of each stage and each participant of these tasks is assigned an individual access code.
At the end of the competition, the scanned works of the participants are encrypted and sent to the members of the jury for inspection. At the end of each stage, scanned copies of the works of the participants are placed on the Internet resource of the «Daryn» center without their personal data. The correct answers to the assignments and the minutes of the results of the Olympics will also be published on the website of the Daryn Center.
