SHYMKENT ATHLETE IS RECOGNIZED AS THE BEST KARATEKA IN THE WORLD
According to the rating conducted by the World Karate Federation (WKF), last year Shymkent athlete Darkhan Asadilov was the leader in the world ranking of the best karatekas.
He was among the best in the weight category up to 60 kg with 9,517 points. Asadilov's main rivals Angelo Krechenzo (Italy) and Shamdan Yeray (Turkey) took second and third places. ⠀
To date, our fellow countryman in the 60 kg weight category, as he is among the best in the Olympic rating (among 600 athletes), has prematurely won a license for the XXXII-summer Olympic Games. It is worth noting that karate will be presented for the first time at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
