TODAY'S HERO: A FIREFIGHTER SAVED A WOMAN AND A CHILD FROM A FIRE
One of the most dangerous professions in our society is the service of a fire specialist. They risk their lives every day protecting people. In our country, there are many people who save lives and faithfully perform their work. One of them is a senior engineer of the Department of State Fire Control of the Department of Emergency Situations of Shymkent, captain of civil defense Azamat Buldurykov.
For the employees of the fire service, each rescued person brings great joy. So, Azamat has repeatedly proved himself, fighting on the front line when extinguishing many large fires. One of them in 2017, during the extinguishing of a fire in the tank farm of the oil depot of JSC "Shymkent Munai Onimderi", Azamat Buldurykov showed his vigilance and became an example for the personnel. For the courage shown in this fire, he was awarded the medal "For Bravery in Emergency Situations".
Also, the young specialist, in the course of extinguishing a fire in one of the apartments of a multi-storey building on A. Baitursynov Street, once again proved his professionalism. He helped the woman and her grandson, who were in a smoke-filled apartment located on the fourth floor of the house. First, after wetting the towel, the firefighter helped the child, then taking it in his hands and holding the elderly woman, he went to the exit. Going down to the third floor, he saw a link of the gas and smoke protection service and handed the child to a colleague, and he took the woman out into the street and provided first aid. Then he went back into the house and supervised the extinguishing of the fire. During the extinguishing of this fire, 3 people were rescued, 7 people were evacuated to a safe area. Residents of the house thanked the firefighters who saved their lives and wrote a letter of thanks to the head of the Emergency Department of Shymkent city.
Captain of civil Defense Azamat Buldurykov, who showed his qualifications despite his young age, was awarded the medal "Erligi Ushin" by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 3, 2020 and the medal "For Distinction in the Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations"by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, he applied for participation in the fourth stage of the project "100 new Faces of Kazakhstan".
