CONSTRUCTION OF TWO BRIDGES HAS BEEN COMPLETED IN ENBEKSHI DISTRICT
Construction of roads, sidewalks and bridges is underway in the Enbekshi district of Shymkent.
The district, with a total length of 613.2 km, has 611 avenues, streets and bridges. Microdistricts and residential areas in need of road repairs were studied in the district. At present, funds have been allocated and repairs are carried out on 62 streets (61.6 km), 16 sidewalks (23.5 km), 8.9 km - gravel pavement. 3.1 billion tenge was allocated for this work.
According to experts of the district mayor's office, priority is given to asphalting the streets of remote localities. By the end of 2020, the length of paved roads will be 407.5 km (66.5%), gravel roads - 182.8 km (29.8%), dirt roads - 22.9 km (3.7%).
Also, a number of bridges are planned to be constructed in Enbekshi district this year. To date, the bridge over the Sairam su river on the Lenger highway and the bridge over the Badam river in the residential area of Karabastau have been reconstructed and put into operation. By the end of the year, the construction of a bridge over the Badam river in the residential areas of Mayatas and Togys, as well as a bridge in the residential area of Yeltay, will be completed.
In addition, the traffic lights on Lenger highway were repaired this year. Works on lighting 12.1 km of 14 streets are under way. In addition, the list of 28 streets that primarily need lighting in 2021 has been approved.
