Information about irrigation systems of Shymkent city
Storm water drainage in Shymkent is performed in an open way towards rivers, channels and suburban ravines. The total length of irrigation networks is 488 km. 23% of which, i.e. 112.2 km are worn out and require repair.
Estimated documentation was developed and a budget application was submitted in order to reconstruct 51,1 km of flumes along 20 streets of the city.
In addition, this year works are underway on the construction of irrigation flumes to eliminate flood situations at 12 addresses, with a length of 7.2 km.
Also, based on the proposals of the district's mayors, design and estimate documentation is being developed for the construction of irrigation flumes on 19 sites, with a length of 6.5 sq. m.
It was developed and approved the estimated documentation for capital repairs of Yangi chek channel from Kazbakaleitorg to Aimautov street, with a length of 3.6 km. Estimated amount is-394.0 million tenge.
