At the MIID discussed the progress of implementation of road projects in the Almaty region

The issue of reconstruction of the M-36 highway “Border of the Russian Federation (to Yekaterinburg) - Almaty” km 2453-km 2446 ”was discussed with the installation of an overpass at the railway crossing of Shamalgan station.

On this project, in December last year, an agreement was signed with the Consortium of Todini Designs Generali S.p.A. / Integra Construction KZ LLP.

Construction and installation works were started in 2019. Now design and survey work is underway. Construction is planned to be completed before the end of this year.

An overhaul of the Almaty-Bishkek highway was also reviewed - section 16-19 km (Altyn Orda market) and section 18-19 km (Asyl Arman residential complex district).

Work on the 16-19 km section (Altyn Orda market) will be completed in December 2020. The facility is procuring building materials.

Overhaul of the km 18-19 section (Asyl Arman residential complex district) began in December 2019. It is planned to build a traffic intersection at different levels with a four-lane traffic device with a length of 550 meters and 1 overhead pedestrian bridge.

The implementation of the overhaul project of the Almaty-Bishkek automobile road, km 16-19 (Altyn Orda market) was taken under special control.

In addition to the described, during the meeting, the issue of reconstruction of the Uzynagash-Otar highway was discussed. The 96 km project is planned to be completed by 2022.
