The Committee for Roads pays special attention to the development of scientific discoveries and the introduction of new technologies.
Scientists of KazdorNII JSC made the discoveries: “The regularity of self-organization of asphalt concrete pavement during low-temperature crack formation”, “The regularity of staged fatigue destruction of viscoelastic materials (Teltaev’s principle)”, “The phenomenon of formation of nanostructured bitumen”.
RSE “National Center for Quality of Road Assets” monitors laboratory tests for compliance with the testing methods of ST RK, GOST, methods proposed by the developer, own methods. It is also involved in testing new materials and technologies at pilot sites. An important point is the monitoring and analysis of pilot sites with the conclusion on the effectiveness of the use of new materials and technologies.
