As part of the maintenance of roads with a length of 20.6 thousand km, work is being carried out on a regular basis aimed at ensuring the safe and uninterrupted movement of vehicles.

Winter maintenance of roads of international and republican significance is ensured by the road-operational sections of Kazakhavtodor LLP numbering 3,715 people, 1,089 units of road maintenance equipment are involved.

There are 124 heating points on the road maintenance sites, where, if necessary, road users who are caught in snow or whose vehicles malfunction may temporarily stay.
