Digitalization and Communications

This division is established to organize and coordinate efforts in the areas of informatization, information support, and the provision of communications for internal affairs bodies, taking into account the contemporary level of technological development and ensuring the technical protection of state secrets and information security within the sphere of informatization.

Functions:

• To formulate and implement a unified policy in the spheres of informatization, communications, information support, and the technical protection of information within the internal affairs bodies, considering the current level of technological advancement.
• To provide technical support for the activities of the internal affairs bodies in the areas of informatization, communications, and the technical protection of information.
• To improve the information support for the operational activities of the internal affairs bodies.
• To enhance, within its competence, state legal statistics and the compilation of departmental statistical reporting within the internal affairs bodies.
• To provide organizational and methodological guidance and control over the implementation within the internal affairs bodies of the fundamental principles of legislation on the National Archival Fund and archives.
