Iogan Merkel dismissed from the position of First Deputy Prosecutor General

Astana, May 17, 2017. By the decree of the Head of State, First Deputy General Prosecutor Merkel Johan Davidovich was dismissed from the position and appointed a member of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The position of First Deputy Prosecutor General I. Merkel occupied since February 2008. He oversaw the scope of international cooperation, rulemaking, the activities of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts, the Academy of Law Enforcement, as well as issues of finance, information and information protection department.
