Baurzhan Kosherbayev was born in 1985 in Akzhar village, Tarbagatai district, East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University with a degree in Law.
He began his career as an assistant prosecutor of the Tarbagatai district.
Over the years, he held various positions, including senior prosecutor of the department for supervision of the legality of judicial acts and representation of state interests in criminal cases of the East Kazakhstan Regional Prosecutor's Office, assistant prosecutor of the region, assistant prosecutor in the department for supervision of the legality of criminal prosecution of the East Kazakhstan Regional Prosecutor's Office, and deputy prosecutor of the Zharym district in East Kazakhstan.
For the past three years, he has headed the department of the East Kazakhstan Regional Prosecutor's Office.
He has more than 18 years of experience in the prosecution service. His class rank is Counselor of Justice.
