Issues of observance of labor rights of citizens under the control of prosecutors of the North Kazakhstan region
On March 04, 2020, an expanded meeting of the Board of the Prosecutor's office of the North Kazakhstan region was held with the participation of the Mayor K. I. Aksakalova, representatives of the authorized bodies, local Executive bodies and the business community of the region on the state of legality in the field of labor legislation for 12 months of 2019.
The results of the analysis conducted jointly with the regional akimat showed that there are problematic issues in the activities of the Commissioner, local Executive bodies, as well as regulatory conflicts, gaps in the current legislation, which entail infringement of the rights of citizens.
The analysis also revealed the facts of hiding wage arrears by employers, labor injuries, and the lack of effective interaction between the internal Affairs bodies and the state labor Inspectorate on issues of industrial injuries.
Based on the results of the Board, recommendations were made and specific instructions were given to intensify work on the payment of salary arrears.

Under articles 297, 299 and 301 of the criminal code, a separate qualifying feature for their Commission is introduced - "through the use of electronic resources", and in article 297 of the criminal code - "in a public place".
New articles of the Criminal code and their parts providing for liability for:
- animal theft (article 188-1 of the criminal code);
- illegal export of cultural values and objects of national cultural heritage outside the Republic or their non-return (part 1-1 of article 203 of the criminal code);
- propaganda or illegal advertising of drugs (article 299-1 of the criminal code);
- illegal extraction, destruction of saiga, as well as acquisition, storage, sale, import, export, shipment, transportation of illegally extracted saiga or its derivatives, including horns (part 1-1 of article 339 of the criminal code);
- violation of traffic rules or operation of vehicles by persons driving vehicles in a state of alcoholic, narcotic and (or) toxic intoxication (article 345-1 of the criminal code).
At the same time, the persons specified in this article do not include persons deprived of the right to drive a vehicle. Responsibility for such acts comes under article 346 of the criminal code;
- encroachment on the life of a state inspector for the protection of animals, an inspector of a specialized organization for the protection of animals, a gamekeeper (article 380-1 of the criminal code), as well as the use of violence against these persons (article 380-2 of the criminal code);
- disclosure of data from closed court proceedings (article 423 of the criminal code);
- concealment (article 432 of the criminal code) or failure to report (article 434 of the criminal code) a crime against the sexual integrity of a minor.
