Erlan Nurkanovich Sarsenov was born on November 11, 1981 in the village Denisovka, Denisov district, Kostanay region.
In 2004 he graduated from the L. I. Gumilyov Eurasian University

He was awarded the medal "Мінсіз қызметі үшін" III degree, the badge "Прокуратура үздігі" II degree.

From 2008 to 2011, he held various positions in the Prosecutor's offices of the Saryarka and Yesil districts of Astana. From 2011 to 2012, he worked as the head of the Department for supervision of legality in the socio-economic sphere of the Prosecutor's office of Kokshetau, Akmola region. From June 2012 to February 2016, Prosecutor of the Department for supervision of legality in the socio-economic sphere of the Prosecutor's office of Astana. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a Deputy Prosecutor of the city of Uralsk in the West Kazakhstan region. From 2017 to 2019, head Of the Department for the protection of public interests of the Prosecutor's office of Kostanay region. From April 2019 to the present, the Prosecutor of the city of Kostanay, Kostanay region.
