The supreme supervision of compliance with the rule of law on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of the state.

1.Protection and restoration of human and civil rights and freedoms, legal interests of legal entities, society and the state in the socio-economic, socio-political spheres, Executive proceedings, civil and administrative cases;

2.identification and elimination of violations of the law, the causes and conditions that contribute to them, as well as their consequences in the socio-economic, socio-political spheres, Executive proceedings, civil and administrative cases;

3.coordination of activities of competent state bodies to ensure law and order and prevent violations in the socio-economic and socio-political spheres, enforcement proceedings, civil and administrative cases;

4.participation in standard-setting activities of state bodies.
