Protection and restoration of human and civil rights and freedoms, legal interests of legal entities, society and the state in the course of criminal prosecution, ORD and KRD;
identification and elimination of violations of the law in the implementation of criminal prosecution, ORD, KRD, causes and conditions that contribute to them;
coordination of the activities of law enforcement and special state bodies in the implementation of criminal prosecution;
analysis of the quality of criminal prosecution and ORD;
development of measures aimed at promoting the formation of correct uniform practices in the implementation of criminal prosecution, ORD and CRD;
preparation of materials for meetings of the Board of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Coordinating Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Ensuring the Rule of Law, law and order and combating crime, operational and staff meetings;
organization of the activities of lower-level prosecutor's offices to ensure the legality of criminal prosecution, ORD and KRD;
participation within the scope of competence in standard-setting activities.
