The state of crime in the 12 months of 2022

The Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Records has compiled information on registered criminal offenses for 12 months of 2022.

The overall crime rate in the country decreased by 0.3%, from 157884 to 157473 criminal offenses.

The highest level of crimes is observed in Almaty in 1621, and the lowest in Turkestan region in 281 with an average republican indicator of 799 crimes per 100 thousand population.

The level of crimes in Kazakhstan was also analyzed according to the International Classification of Crimes approved by the United Nations, information about convicts and a portrait of the criminal was compiled.
