Information and analytical activities

In order to implement the state policy in the field of forming state legal statistics and maintaining special records, the authorized body:

1) generates state legal statistics;

2) keeps special records, with the exception of operational, departmental records and records of persons who cooperate on a confidential basis with bodies engaged in operational-search and counterintelligence activities;

3) supervises the integrity, objectivity, reliability, and sufficiency of information of state legal statistics and special accounts provided by subjects of legal statistics and special accounts, as well as determines the methodology for collecting, registering, processing, accumulating, compiling, and storing information in this area;

4) conducts legal statistical observations;

5) carries out information and analytical activities in the field of legal statistics and special accounting;

6) keeps records of inspections and preventive control and supervision with visits to the subject (object) of control and supervision conducted by control and supervision bodies;

8) interacts with state bodies on legal statistics and special accounting issues;

9) carries out international cooperation in the field of legal statistics and special accounting;

11) develops statistical principles and standards, methodology in the field of state legal statistics and special accounting;

12) develops normative legal acts on legal statistics and special accounts that are mandatory for all subjects of legal statistics and special accounts;

12-1) coordinates inspections of control and supervision bodies;

12-2) publish information about persons brought to criminal responsibility for committing offenses against the sexual integrity of minors;

12-3) performs the functions of the operator of the information exchange system of law enforcement, special state and other bodies in the field of:

ensuring compliance with common requirements in the field of information and communication technologies and ensuring information security;

implementation of operation, maintenance, development, monitoring of the information exchange system of law enforcement, special state and other bodies;

ensuring uninterrupted and proper functioning, as well as protection of the information exchange system of law enforcement, special state and other bodies;

ensuring the security of storage of electronic information resources in the information exchange system of law enforcement, special state and other bodies;

ensuring prompt response to identified deficiencies in the information exchange system of law enforcement, special state and other bodies and taking measures to eliminate them;

12-4) defines the officials responsible for the functioning, administration, and use of the information exchange system of law enforcement, special state and other bodies;

12-5) provides functioning of the Internet portal "Map of criminal offenses";

12-6) accepts, stores and issues terminated criminal cases;

12-7) develops and approves the forms of an act on the appointment of inspection and preventive control and supervision with a visit to the subject (object) of control and supervision, an additional act on the extension of inspection and

preventive control and supervision in the vicinity of a subject (object) of the supervision act on audit results and preventive control and supervision in the vicinity of a subject (object) of control and supervision, regulations to eliminate detected violations;

12-8) make proposals to improve the procedure for conducting state control and supervision to the regulatory state bodies;

13) performs other functions provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
