The total land area of the district is 1,126,147 hectares, including 873,973 hectares for agricultural purposes, of which 486,118 hectares are arable land, 374,046 hectares are pastures, and 1,485 hectares are fallow lands.
In the district, according to the land balance, the total area of irrigated land is 14,069 thousand hectares, of which 1,500 thousand hectares are used for their intended purpose, on which work is carried out for the production of vegetables, potatoes and fodder.
According to the plan for the restoration of irrigated systems for 2017-2021, it is planned to put into circulation about 4,692 hectares. In addition, protocols of intent have been signed with peasants, farms, and limited liability partnerships for 10,000 hectares.
In order to involve in agricultural turnover, 2 tenders were held in the current year for the provision of agricultural land plots for rent for 10 years, 18 land plots with a total area of 3,909 hectares.
Agreements were concluded for the sale of land plots for 2021 in the amount of 17 million 336 thousand tenge, of which 7 million 979 thousand tenge at a time, in installments 9 million 357 thousand tenge.
