Additional education in the city of Karaganda is developing in three directions - extracurricular organizations, cultural and sports organizations, school clubs and sections.
In total, there are: 16 extracurricular educational organizations (11 public and 5 private).
Since September 2021, a new KGKP «Palace of Schoolchildren № 2» has been operating in the South-East with a coverage of 4411 people.
As of September «30» 2021, 16812 children were enrolled in 11 additional education organizations (art schools – 3, music schools – 4, art schools – 1, the station of young naturalists – 1, the Palace of Schoolchildren – 2).
The coverage of additional education in organizations of additional education and in school circles and sections is 85% (60520 students).
The service of admission and enrollment in the organization of additional education is carried out through the electronic system «e-daryn».
