About the scientific and practical conference "The development of historical education in schools at the present stage: problems and prospects"

As part of the action plan dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on December 6, 2023, a city scientific and practical conference of teachers of public disciplines dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Development of historical education in schools at the present stage: problems and prospects" will be held.

Conference Organizer: GU "Department of education for the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk" UO East Kazakhstan region.

  The purpose of the Competition is to popularize the pedagogical experience of teachers of social disciplines in the context of patriotic education of students in the lessons of social disciplines and extracurricular activities.

Problem field: with the relatively high quality of students' knowledge of history, we observe a low level of formation of historical thinking and patriotic consciousness of young people.

Effect:

- identification and dissemination of best practices in teaching the subject of "History";

- stimulating innovative approaches in teaching the subject of "History";

- public recognition of the contribution of history teachers to development

- creation of a data bank through the outgoing publication of abstracts

- presentations by successful teachers of educational organizations of the city;

- public recognition of the contribution of history teachers to the development of the city's education system.
