Foreign trade activity of the Ministry aimed at development of proposals on formation and improvement of the state policy in the field of foreign trade development and prioritization, development of foreign trade policy, carries out international cooperation in the field of development of foreign trade policy through participation in the development of trade agreements on preferential and free trade with third countries, develops proposals for international cooperation with third countries taking into account trade-economic interests of the state, it also coordinates the activities of state bodies in conducting negotiations on the conclusion of agreements on trade and economic cooperation and free (preferential) trade with foreign countries within the framework of the Eurasian economic Union or independently by the Republic of Kazakhstan.
