The state institution "Committee of technical regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is an Agency of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which performs regulatory, implementation and control functions, as well as participates in the implementation of strategic functions of the Ministry in the fields of technical regulation and Metrology.
The Committee's mission is to ensure the safety of products, services and processes in the Republic of Kazakhstan, protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the consequences of inaccurate measurement results.
In function Komitetov the development of rules of carrying out tenders at the choice of accreditation body and qualification requirements for on akkreditatsii, organization and carrying out competitions at the choice of accreditation body in the field of conformity assessment, implementation of control over observance of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on accreditation in the field of conformity assessment, organization analysis and examination of projects and technical regulations on conformity to state policy in the field of technical regulation and goals, in accordance with paragraph 1 of article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on technical regulation", interaction with expert councils for the development of technical regulations, individuals and legal entities on technical regulation, as well as representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in international and regional organizations for standardization, conformity assessment and accreditation, participation in international and regional standardization, mutual recognition of the results of conformity assessment;
In addition, the Committee coordinates the activities of the metrological service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approves state standards of units of quantities, organizes scientific research in the field of Metrology, establishes the classification of state standards of units of quantities used in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as defines General metrological requirements for measuring instruments, methods and results, methods of verification of measuring instruments;
