In Kazakhstan, buckwheat, sugar, potatoes and sunflower oil have fallen in price. Prices have decreased by more than 2%, «Khabar 24» reports.
This is the most noticeable decrease in prices, at least since the beginning of 2022. This was announced today by the First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration. However, prices have changed only in large supermarkets, Arman Shakkaliev said. It is there that Kazakhstanis are advised to buy. In stores «at home» significantly affects the cost of goods, the so-called «trade surcharge».
Arman Shakkaliyev, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
- Analysis of the data of the last week shows that we have a decrease in certain categories. These are goods such as buckwheat, sugar. We have a certain decrease in potatoes and sunflower oil. The price is reduced to 2.2%. If we talk in general about the republic "Where to buy?", then, first of all, it should be large retail chains, retail facilities that are equipped with a cash register, because only through checks, if there is doubt that the trade allowance is respected, you can contact the authorized bodies.
