From April 12, gasoline and diesel fuel will rise in price.
Representatives of large retail chains stated that, despite the increase in prices for fuels and lubricants, there are no grounds for a rise in the price of socially significant food products (SSFP), the press service of the Ministry of Trade and Integration reports.
First Vice Minister Arman Shakkaliyev met with representatives of large retail chains. At the meeting, the issue of whether the increase in gasoline and diesel fuel prices will affect the prices of SSFP, and the introduction of the National Catalog of Goods (NCG) was discussed.
«Representatives of retail chains said that today there are no prerequisites for changing prices for socially significant food products. Because the basic pricing conditions have not changed significantly. In the future, prices for SSFP will be based on the economic situation», - the report says.
The introduction of a national product catalog was also discussed at the meeting.
«NCG is a single nomenclature of barcodes for each type of product. This is necessary to ensure transparency of data on the products of retail chains, optimize the process of shipping and collecting reports for government agencies, introduce new products for sellers, automate the search process and allows you to generate reports and exclude irrational spending of resources», - the message says.
Now the NCG has data on more than 6.5 million unique products of various categories.
Today, information about the nomenclature of the SSFP and the goods sold is received from retail chains.
In May of this year, it is planned to launch the NCG in a pilot mode.
It should be noted that starting from April 12, fuel and lubricants will become more expensive in Kazakhstan.
