The Ministry of Trade and Integration plans to speed up the delivery of goods from international marketplaces twice with the help of customs bonded warehouses.
According to sources, the essence of a bonded warehouse is the storage of foreign goods in a warehouse without paying customs duties and taxes before they are sent to consumers in small batches. Similar ones have already been built on the territory of the FEZ "Khorgos — Eastern Gate".
Now, for their full launch, it is necessary to make changes to the Customs Code.
It is expected that large marketplaces will have the opportunity to place their goods in this warehouse with a shelf life of up to three years. During this time, entrepreneurs will be able to sell their goods to individuals as the order is received both on the territory of Kazakhstan and in third countries. As a result, the declaration will be carried out after the fact.
The Ministry is working on issues of cooperation with marketplaces and the launch of a warehouse.
