Hand–to-hand combat is one of the most difficult and spectacular types of martial arts. It includes a technical Arsenal of almost all types of martial arts. This is a complex sport that consists of two rounds of competition.
The first round – a demonstration of the technique used in standard situations in combat with an unarmed and armed enemy (10-point rating system).
The second round – duels in which it is allowed to apply controlled blows, throws, holds, painful and suffocating receptions in certain positions of fighters.
In the 90s, hand-to-hand combat as a sport became popular not only among the military, but also among the General population. It is distinguished by its entertainment, variety of techniques, actions, validity of the rules and the judging system. The increased interest in it has led to a rapid growth in the number of sections and clubs, an increase in the number of physical culture students and athletes involved in them. This phenomenon is largely due to the fact that the rules and terminology of hand-to-hand combat are deeply rooted in Russian sports theory and practice. Methods of training and competitions are based on the national school of wrestling and Boxing.
November 10-11, 2001 at the sports Palace. Baluana sholaka Almaty at a high organizational and professional level, the world Federation of hand-to-hand combat held the first world championship in hand-to-hand combat. Long-term work of specialists and coaches of the hand-to-hand combat Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Dynamo sports society in the center and on the ground, grueling training of athletes allowed our countrymen to win in six of the eight weight categories.
The first world Champions in hand-to-hand combat were Saken Musakulov, Yerzhan Seysenbayev, Ruslan Mukanov, Shatlykzhan Khamraev, Dmitry Selivanov, and Alik Zhalilov. This was a natural result of active, selfless, highly professional work of a huge team of like-minded people United by selfless interest, dedication and love for hand-to-hand combat.
The Republican hand-to-hand combat Federation was established in 2004.
In 2007, a long-term plan was adopted and goals were defined that were focused on the development of hand-to-hand combat in the regions, raising the Federation's activities to a higher level with access to the international arena and activating work with young people and young men.
In the regions, regional and regional federations are engaged in the promotion and comprehensive development of hand-to-hand combat. In October 2014, in connection with the new rules of accreditation of the sport and to improve the work, a new structure was created-the Association of legal entities "All-Kazakhstan Association of hand-to-hand combat".
