Anti-corruption - the activities of anti-corruption entities within their powers to prevent corruption, including the formation of an anti-corruption culture in society, identify and eliminate the causes and conditions that contribute to the Commission of corruption offenses, as well as to identify, suppress, disclose and investigate corruption offenses and eliminate their consequences.

The system of anti-corruption measures includes:
- anti-corruption monitoring;
- analysis of corruption risks;
- formation of an anti-corruption culture;
- conducting scientific anti-corruption expertise of draft regulatory legal acts in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- identification of corruption-related norms in the course of legal expertise in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- formation and compliance with anti-corruption standards;
- financial control;
- anti-corruption restrictions;
- prevention and resolution of conflicts of interest;
- measures to counter corruption in the field of entrepreneurship;
- detection, suppression, disclosure and investigation of corruption offenses;
- reporting corruption offences;
- elimination of consequences of corruption offenses;
- formation and publication of the National anti-corruption report.

The activities of the defense Department aimed at eliminating corruption in the Armed Forces are carried out in strict accordance with The national Plan - 100 steps to the 5 institutional reforms, anti-corruption strategy of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025 years, the legislation on combating corruption, Regulation on organization of activities of the commissions on combating corruption (anti-corruption commissions) in the armed forces of Kazakhstan, approved by order of the Minister of defence from 30 June 2020 No. 302, the action Plan of the Ministry of defense in 2018-2020 implementation of anti-corruption strategy of Kazakhstan for 2015-2025, approved by order of the Minister of defence dated 26 June 2018 No. 436 and other regulatory documents.
