The procedure for providing housing for military personnel
Housing for military personnel is one of the priority tasks for the social security of military personnel and their family members, which is directly related to the quality of combat readiness of troops and affects the prestige of the Armed Forces and the motivation of military personnel to perform military duty.
The realization of the right to housing for military personnel is carried out from the date of recognition of those in need of housing, by providing official housing or transferring housing payments to the personal special account of military personnel.
After being recognized as needing housing, military personnel choose one of the ways to provide housing, which is to obtain official housing for subsequent privatization or receive current housing payments.
At the same time, military personnel provided with official housing that is not subject to privatization (an apartment or a room in a dormitory located on the territory of closed and isolated military camps or a room in a dormitory located outside a military camp) receive housing payments of 50% in addition to official housing.
