On October 17, 2025, a working meeting was held in Almaty with the participation of the Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.B. Arystanbekova and the Ethics Commissioner of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.T. Akbaeva.
The event was chaired by N.A. Akhmedkaliev, Deputy Head of the State Revenues Department for Almaty city, as part of the program of working meetings of ethics commissioners of the system of the Ministry of Finance, covering the region of Zhetisu, Almaty region and the city of Almaty.
The work was attended by heads and employees of structural divisions and district departments of the State Revenues Department for Almaty city, as well as employees of territorial departments of the Committees of State Revenues, Treasury, State Property and Privatization, Internal State Audit.
The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss issues of strengthening ethical culture among civil servants, increasing citizens' confidence in the public service, sharing experience in the prevention of violations of official ethics and the formation of respectable behavior in the team.
During the meeting, the ethics commissioners of the Ministry of Finance and the State Revenue Committee noted the importance of observing the principles of integrity, fairness and respect in relations between civil servants and citizens, as well as the need to improve the ethical infrastructure in state revenue bodies.
Concluding the meeting, the participants were advised to actively implement the best practices of ethical behavior, conduct internal training events and maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect and professionalism in service teams.
