The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan manages public finances, on which the well-being of society directly depends. Transparent, honest and responsible behavior of employees strengthens the confidence of citizens in public authorities. Therefore, holding regional meetings of the head of the HR department and the ethics commissioner contributes to the formation of uniform standards of professional behavior among employees throughout the country.
On May 28-30, 2025, a working trip of the Director of the Department of Strategy, Personnel Management and Mobilization Work of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Orunkhanov and the Commissioner for Ethics of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kamshat Arystanbekova took place in the Karaganda and Ulytau regions.
During the trip, meetings were held with employees of territorial departments and district departments of state revenue committees, treasury, state property and privatization, internal state audit, as well as with representatives of district divisions of Bukhar-Zhyrau district of Karaganda region, Zhanaarka district and Satpayev city of Ulytau region.
The main purpose of the working meetings was to prevent violations of the Code of Ethics of Civil Servants, legislation in the field of civil service and anti-corruption legislation. Participants were given clarifications on key aspects of the behavior of civil servants.
They also discussed the legal status of civil servants, compliance with official discipline, established anti-corruption restrictions, as well as criminal and administrative liability for corruption offenses.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues systematic work to improve ethical culture and strengthen the principles of integrity in the public service.
