On April 10-11 of this year, Director of the Department of Strategy, Personnel Management and Mobilization Kairat Orunkhanov and Ethics Commissioner of the Ministry of Finance Kamshat Arystanbekova visited Zhambyl region.
During the working visit, representatives of the Ministry of Finance held meetings with employees of territorial departments and district departments of the Committees of State Revenue, Treasury, State Property and Privatization, Internal State Audit in the Zhambyl region (Zhualinsky and Zhambyl districts).
This working trip was organized in order to prevent violations of legislation in the field of civil service and anti-corruption legislation, prevent conflicts of interest, as well as form a positive image of the civil service and is aimed at providing advice to civil servants on compliance with the requirements of the Code of Ethics and legislation in the field of civil service, anti-corruption.
During the working meetings, issues such as the legal status of civil servants, official discipline, ethics of civil servants, social guarantees of civil servants and their families, termination of civil service, financial control measures, anti-corruption restrictions, conflict of interest, as well as criminal and administrative liability for committing corruption offenses were discussed.
In addition, during the trip, explanations were given on the issues of bonuses, the provision of material assistance and the establishment of allowances for official salaries of employees of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the expense of the republican budget. Also, special attention will be paid to issues related to the abolition (liquidation), reorganization of state bodies, change in the management structure within state bodies, reduction in staffing, as well as payment of bonuses to administrative civil servants.
At the end of the meeting, answers were given to employees' questions, as well as a personal reception.
