On February 27 of this year, a seminar was held at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of compliance with ethical standards by civil servants. It was conducted by the ethics commissioner of the department Kamshat Arystanbekova with the participation of police lieutenant colonel - head of the department of the Police Department of the city of Astana Mirhat Farkhatovich Kurmangaliev.
During the meeting, measures were discussed to prevent violations associated with the appearance in public places in a state of alcoholic or drug intoxication, as well as the inadmissibility of driving vehicles in such a state. The police representative explained the norms of the law, responsibility for their violation and preventive measures.
Compliance with ethical standards is especially important in the context of public service reform focused on openness and de-bureaucratization. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan will continue to work to improve the level of ethical culture among civil servants.
