The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan interacts with foreign states, international financial organizations and institutions, regional integration associations on issues of financial and economic cooperation.

Also, its tasks are monitoring of international agreements concluded by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan with foreign states, international financial organizations (ADB, EBRD, IBRD, IDB, WB, etc.) and regional associations (EAEU, SCO, CIS, CSTO, etc.) and ensuring the payment of membership fees of the Republic of Kazakhstan to international financial organizations (ADB, EB BRD, EDB, IDB, IBRD, etc.).

In addition, the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the responsible state body for maintaining (implementing, organizing, etc.) the Kazakh part of the Kazakh-Kuwaiti and Kazakh-Lithuanian intergovernmental commissions on trade and economic cooperation
