Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign foreign missions of the Republic of Kazakhstan accept and approve invitations of foreign affairs departments, diplomatic and equivalent to them representations, consular offices of foreign states, international organizations and their representations (Art. 10 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «About migration of the population»).
The note verbale shall be submitted not earlier than 90 days and no later than 5 days prior to the expected date of entry of the visa recipient to the Republic of Kazakhstan («Regulations for invitation, approval of invitations for entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan of foreigners and stateless persons, as well as issuance, cancellation and reissue the visa of the Republic of Kazakhstan and its term extension and reduction» (hereinafter – Regulations)).
The term of consideration of the invitation – 5 working days (from the date of apply).
In order to register the invitation the inviting party shall submit to the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan two copies of form as per Annex 3 of the Regulations (hard copy as well as soft copy to the following email: visa@mfa.kz ) and official note.
In cases provided by Regulations additional documents can be requested.
After 5 working days the number of invitation is given to inviting party. Number registered in the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, date of the invitation should be sent by inviting party to the foreigner (original or scanned copy of invitation).
After receiving approval number, invited person needs to approach consular offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan for visa of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Place of issue of the visa of the Republic of Kazakhstan is determined in accordance with the consular district to which the country of citizenship and (or) the permanent place of residence of the recipient of the visa belongs.
Members of official delegation, citizens of the countries, where there are no consular offices of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as recipients of visas on the basis of the invitation, may obtain visas at the international airports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
