The Republican State Institution «Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan» (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) is an agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) carrying out regulatory, implementation and control functions, as well as participating in the execution of the strategic functions of the Ministry in the implementation of state investment attraction policies.

The objective of the Committee is implementation of state policy to attract investment, provision of measures for the implementation and monitoring of investment projects.

The Committee, within its competence, advises, assists and interacts with investors by creating and ensuring the functioning of a "one window" for investors, ensures the activities of the investment ombudsman, makes decisions on the provision of investment preferences, concludes, maintains registration and makes decisions on early termination and controls compliance with the terms of investment contracts, and also performs other functions provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
