Five permanent commissions have been formed in the maslikhat of Aktobe:
1) economics, budget and finance;
2) on socio –cultural development and youth affairs;
3) on industrial development, infrastructure and housing and communal issues;
4) on issues of legality, law and order, local government and self-government;
5) on agrarian issues, ecology and land relations.
