Mission of the state institution "Department of Religious Affairs of Mangystau region":

implementation of state policy in the field of religious activity.

Tasks:

1) development of proposals for the formation and implementation of the main directions of state policy in the field of ensuring the realization of citizens' rights to freedom of religious beliefs and interaction with religious associations;

2) comprehensive and objective study, generalization and analysis of the ongoing processes in the field of the realization of citizens' rights to freedom of religious beliefs and the activities of religious associations and missionaries;

3) implementation of other tasks assigned to the state institution "Department for Religious Affairs of Mangystau region" in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
