Tasks of the state institution of the Department of Economics and budget planning:

1) formation of strategic goals and priorities, main directions of socio-economic development of the region;

2) formation and implementation of budget and investment policy in cooperation with the priorities of socio-economic development, tax and monetary policy;

3) implementation of the state policy in the field of regional development;

4) other tasks assigned by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the state institution "Department of economy and budget planning of Mangystau region".
