The trade activity of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Mangystau region is aimed at ensuring the implementation of trade policy, the development of measures to create conditions conducive to trade activities, the development of proposals for minimum standards of provision of the population with retail space, the development and implementation of measures to achieve the minimum standard of provision of the population with retail space. And also organizes exhibitions and fairs and state control over compliance with the maximum allowable retail prices for socially significant food products. Monitors the prices of fuels and lubricants and the availability of stocks in the storages of the region.
Within the framework of price containment for socially significant food products, the Akimat of the region has developed a Resolution "On approval of the Rules for the implementation of mechanisms for stabilizing prices for socially significant food products in the Mangystau region" for No. 213 dated October 02, 2019. The list of socially significant food products was approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 145 dated March 1, 2010, it includes 19 names of food products.
In order to develop e-commerce, the Department, together with the Department of State Revenue and the National Bank and the Branch of Kazpost JSC, is working to increase the number of e-commerce participants and increase the number of POS terminals and online cash registers with FPD;
