There are more than 125 thousand households in the Mangystau region and 53,902 operating small and medium-sized businesses are registered. Akimats of cities and districts, together with the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, will conduct a screening throughout the Mangystau region, which will identify promising niches for business development and form regional development maps with clear specialization, niche identification and placement of subjects.
As a result of the screening, the research group will be able to identify additional niches for creating business projects in the region, at the same time identify problematic points. The study will be conducted by means of a questionnaire. Based on the results of the questionnaires, a map of regional development will be prepared, which implies a clear specialization, it will be possible to find not only promising niches of existing businesses, but also the needs of the region, which projects need to be created.
We will be able to see which projects need to be created and supported at the expense of the republican budget, which through commercial banks, and which at the expense of regional resources. With the help of screening, it is also possible to identify the real number of both unemployed and self-employed residents, and to assess the labor potential in general. The survey will be conducted in the form of a house-by-house bypass or a phone call in each district, in each city, village, aul of the region. The survey will determine the needs of the population. The questionnaire includes 27 key questions.
As a result, screening will give the following results:
- new business niches;
- geolocation of business objects (where and what to open);
- real directions for import substitution, etc.
In this regard, we ask residents and entrepreneurs of the region to treat this initiative with understanding and support and assist in filling out questionnaires to identify the real current situation.
