To exercise control over compliance with the legislation on regulatory acts in the field of architecture and urban planning, to verify the legality of applications received on land issues, including the legality of drawings in accordance with the land plan, to implement and conduct state architectural and urban planning policy in rural areas, to organize the preparation of the master plan of rural settlements, the layout project of residential, civil and communal facilities, projects of the suburban area of the village, as well as projects of individual houses and buildings, to organize the preparation of rules for the construction of settlements and their submission for approval in the established manner, to participate in the selection and allocation of land plots for construction and other urban development, to organize the acceptance into operation of various objects of residential - civil, cultural - domestic, communal, as well as industrial buildings in rural areas.
