The State Energy Register (SER) is a systematized set of information about the subjects of the State Energy Register, which is a key element of the Energy Efficiency Improvement Project in Kazakhstan.
This is a database on the list of energy-intensive enterprises consuming energy resources in an amount equivalent to 1,500 or more tons of conventional fuel per year, as well as state institutions, quasi-public sector entities and natural monopolies consuming energy resources in an amount equivalent to 100 or more tons of conventional fuel per year. Today, the registry consists of more than 6,000 entities.
The fifth subproject of the 2nd component "Technical assistance" is aimed at further improvement of the automated information system "State Energy Register" (AIS GER).
In 2017, the system of data collection from the subjects of the State Energy Register was automated by creating an Automated Information System. The "Improvement of AIS GER", created based on the experience of advanced countries of the world, was based on the Japanese experience of energy saving.
The purpose of the subproject is to further improve the AIS of the GER, taking into account technical support.
