Wage arrears are monitored in three categories:
Current wage arrears (the period of formation of which is less than 3 months);
Overdue salary arrears (the period of formation of which is more than 3 months);
Wage arrears in organizations declared bankrupt.
To ensure a complete picture of wage arrears, monitoring is carried out jointly with the Prosecutor's office, justice, and state revenue. Also, other sources of information are taken as a basis.
After the identification of current and overdue wage arrears, the state labor inspector makes an order to repay the debt.
Debt in bankrupt organizations is repaid within the framework of bankruptcy procedures.
