Department for the Protection of Children's Rights, Special and Inclusive Education

Coordinates and controls the activities of special educational organizations, boarding institutions for orphans and children left without parental care, the implementation of educational support for children with special educational needs on the basis of laws and regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education.

Exercising the rights and interests of orphans and children left without parental care (queues for housing, maintenance, preservation of real estate, rent, organization of summer holidays, as well as provision of education, employment, etc.), information about these categories of children is monitored in a timely manner, updated and supplemented in the Republican Data Bank.

Carries out work on providing advisory assistance to citizens who wish to accept orphaned children and children left without parental care into their family through the school of foster parents at the children's village.

Protects the rights and interests of pupils of boarding institutions (timely placement in families, health, creation of conditions, etc.).

Organizes seminars, trainings on improving competence in the field of protection of children's rights for specialists of guardianship and guardianship authorities, subordinate educational organizations, specialists of district and city education departments performing guardianship and guardianship functions.

On the basis of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 343 "on the support of children with disabilities through social and medical-pedagogical correction" expands the network of special educational organizations for the adaptation and support of children with special educational needs in society.

Organizes work in association with non-governmental organizations, public foundations to improve creative skills, sports, summer health improvement of children with special educational needs, organizes advanced training courses, master classes, trainings, seminars at the republican, regional levels on the organization of the educational process.

Provides holding of actions for orphans and children left without parental care and for children with special educational needs such as "Kamkorshi kuni", "Kuan, sabi!", "Zorlyk-zombylyksyz balalyk shak", "Bala enbegine karsi 12 kuni", "Bala kukygy- adam kukygy", the festival "Zhuldyzai".

Provides methodological and legal assistance in the implementation of the protection of the rights and interests of children.
